Where is Student-Athlete X? I don't see them when I search for them.

Student athletes have the option to opt-in or opt-out of the global exchange. If you do not see the profile of a student-athlete, it is most likely that they have opted-out of the exchange or have not opted-in yet.

How can student-athletes find me in their app?

Student-athletes need to visit the Exchange tab in their INFLCR app, which can be found by pressing the $ icon on the menu bar.

What happens when I send a message? How is the student-athlete notified?

When you send a message to an student-athlete, they are notified via push notification and through an icon in their app.

What happens when I propose a transaction? When should I do that? What should I say?

You can propose a transaction to a student- athlete when they show interest in collaborating with you. Once you fill out the form, the student-athlete is notified within the conversation and can approve or decline the proposal. Once approved, you can send payment on the Transactions tab.

Can I send multiple payments?

At the moment, you will need to send payments individually to student-athletes. We’re looking at adding a bulk payment option in the future.

How does INFLCR handle taxes? Why does it say I'm paying INFLCR?

INFLCR creates a 1099 for every student-athlete that reaches the minimum threshold every year. Because you are paying INFLCR, and INFLCR is paying the student-athlete, you do not need to produce tax documents for the student-athlete on payments sent through the Exchange under most circumstances.

How do I get compliance approval on transactions?

When a student-athlete agrees to a proposal, it is submitted to their compliance department at their school. If you need compliance approval on a payment or transaction, you can ask the athlete to verify if compliance has approved the transaction in your conversation. Ultimately, the duty of disclosing transactions and/or receiving approval for transactions, is almost always the student-athlete’s responsibility unless otherwise noted.

How do I get licensing approval from a school?

Reach out to the institution’s compliance contact on their university website for information on licensing.

How do I know the athlete received the payment?

In the transactions tab, it will show the payment status. When payout is complete, you’ll see a green Payout Complete status button next to the transaction.
